Russia’s Anton Golotsutskov is hoping to win a medal on vault and floor at the upcoming World Championships”. “I have set myself the goal of making the top three on floor and vault,” he told “Noviye Izvestia”. “Of course, it's better to return with a victory, but I am talking about my minimum programme.” Golotsutskov took an extended break following the Olympics and admits it was hard to come back. “The year after the Olympics is always difficult. For example, I couldn’t bring myself to go to the gym for about six months. Not to mention training.” He put on five kilos during the break “during my first work out back started training again, I didn’t notice anything. Only when I couldn’t get out of bed the next morning, did I remember what I had returned to.”
